Tottenham on racist acts against mathys

‎Tottenham player Mathys Tel has been going through 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐞 on social media after his missed shot on goal against Paris Saint German in the UEFA super cup.

‎ Tottenham issued a statement condemning the abuse:

‎“We are sickened by the racist abuse Mathys Tel has suffered on social media.”

‎“Mathys showed courage by stepping up and taking a penalty, but those who abuse him are nothing but cowards – hiding behind usernames and anonymous profiles to express their vile opinions.”

‎“We will work with the authorities and social media platforms to take the strongest possible action against anyone we are able to identify.”

‎“We are with you, Mathys.” ❤️
